So are the vast majority of Mopar cop cars of the era, so? Plus, it has a "K"-coded VIN, so that makes it a real cop car and not a fake.

I like their transmissions. I couldn't find one for my 68' 340, and the book said the Police/Taxi 727 for the 318 is a very close version of the 340. I found one recently, and they are almost Identical, Although the part number is different.

Remember not all Police cars have the "K" code. Some like mine were ordered as a higher price class (Fury III) and had the individaul Police options added on.

I had a SB Dart that my tranny regularly took trips south. $$$ repeatedly fixing that thing.
I tripped across a taxi tranny with a bazillion miles on it, bought it for chump change, and never had a problem again.
