It looks like a car driven by Mccloud in the series(70-74). I loved that show!

Should have left it in the NYPD colors. IMHO he ruined it. If the car really had NYPD history wouldn't be more valuable in its original livery?

It was featured in a 2007 movie called American Gangster as the ad says. Could also be propped up by the movie guys, hope there's some documentation for the NYPD heritage.

If you read between the lines of the seller's convoluted description, I believe that it was a real NYPD car, from the sixties, that was used in a movie in 2006 (or whenever it was made).
