My favourite of the fastops. If it wasn't missing the cornering lights, I'd swear it was my old car.

Well, yes...all New Yorkers had the lower stainless trim in 68.

Or were you referring to the fact that it's nice to see it because it is often missing?

I was unaware they all had it. Do you mean all 2 door NY's had it or all 68 New Yorkers had it?

The 68 4 door we had didn't have it but it may have been removed prior to Dad getting it .. which was about ~ 78. He found some off a junk yard car though and put it on. Really looked great.

I have a complete set of lower aluminum for a 66 new yorker 2 door I removed from the car... it is in nice shape.

I didn't make the deal with the 73 yet I would consider this I live 45 min away and I lived 10 minutes away 6 months ago. I might really check this out I know mechanics in the area if something needs to be done and no shipping costs

i'am going to take a ride up Sat to look at it I let you know how it is He told me it was repainted once years ago he has leak in trunk minor slight rust in certain areas. Its always garaged he owned since 95. The Magnum 500s are knock offs by wheels vintiuqe and he said the chrome is so thin he had to make sure its in dry climate or it will rust within days. The interior is good and other pluses will see update u sunday

i just found out the Broker listing my car had a 65 New yorker sedan for sale. He listed it for 4,800 it was in very good shape fully loaded with 413. The guy that was selling the car was so desperate he took 2,900 for the car. I would have bought the car and used as a daily driver only if I knew he was that desperate. It was gold w gold interior inside was immaculate. The exterior was painted at one time but still looked good and he said the car ran great w 113,000 original miles

I wish I did have a 68 Charger R/T 440 needed complete restoration. Body solid it was set up to race I wish I would have went through and restored the car. Instead I did some work and still made a few dollars on it. Thats one I wish I would still have sitting on my mantle
