Boy, I bet that one is hiding some sins! Nice masking job on the engine compartment repaint. If that's representative of the quality of the rest of the work done on the car, it would sure be one to avoid.

Is the rod going from the firewall to the inner fender near the master cylinder official 4 speed equipment? Can't say that I ever noticed that before. The red paint makes it stand out more than it otherwise would.

I think I can see PP1 on the tag, its hard to read, and the 3 for the 4-speed. Has the telltail signs of being a real 4-speed car. Too bad they lipsticked it.

I have heard about such rods on 4 speed C body cars after 67, but mine being a 66 does not have one.
