1968 Plymouth Fury II Sedan - $4,000 - Mt Pleasant, South Carolina

.....

FB Description

1968 Plymouth Fury Police car This utterly marvelous car was a DC metro police car. The vehicle has been rather changed over to the Park Service. The emergency light quite works…. This is a project vehicle and has rust and dent issues. The vehicle has a 318 which is rather strong, and the transmission shifts right well! Please contact me and on FB if interested…

It looks like a Fury I as it does not have the body side moldings or the trunk moldings. It has the rare 15" wheels that take special clip on hub caps. I don't understand why someone would post the car for sale with no close up photos.

I would say possibly a bonifide PK car as it has all the cop items like rubber rug, clock delete, 60 amp alternator gauge, (I'll bet cert speedo), HD Tan all vinyl seats (haven't seen many of this option over the years), 3 spoke wheel with a broken full horn ring, the cop 15" wheels with clip type moon hub caps (rare) 15" wheel denotes disc brakes but I see manual Master Cylinder.
Be nice to see VIN & Fender Tag on this one as to if a BB was swapped out for the later blue colored 318.
