Rebuilt 318 V8 with full tune up
Rebuilt Carb
all original 100K miles. - one previous owner ( i am second titled owner)
Car runs and drives great!.. would make a great drive as you restore project.
Body is clean of rust. Chassis is clean. floors are clean.

Just for S & G's, I emailed the guy and asked long it had been since the rebuild and if he had any paperwork/specs on the rebuild...the reply...

I dont know. I was given this information from the previous owner. From experience i can see that the motor was definitely freshened up. I can see the new manifold gasket the entire block is clean and she purres like a kitten. Shes got lots of power and doesn't burn a drop of oil. Oil color is nice and clean even after a year of owner her which tells me there is no sludge build up in the motor. Let me know if you want to come by and check her out.

I guess it just bugs me a bit with all these claims of "fresh rebuild", or "just rebuilt", then no proof of these claims. Those claims mean little to nothing to me unless it can be verified.

Yea I agree you would have to see some kind of info on the rebuild , The previous owners granny could have built it or not

There's still a handful of guys that consider a re gasket, repaint a rebuild. His oil looks clean after 1 year is very fishy... Brand new cars oil will get a dirty color to the oil after 5,000 miles. Does that mean the factory installed a used engine that has sludge....
