Nice car but it appears that the lower rear quarters were done with patch panels and they are not correct. Perhaps that is why the rear wheel opening moldings are missing but the moldings could have fallen off due to rust or it could be a skirt car without skirts. It definitely would require an inspection of the body work. The lower quarters should not be flat from the lower body line down.

Good pick! The trim is completely wrong for a VIP and the quarters are a not-so-reasonable facsimile of their former glory. I do like that it’s a ‘68 2dr non-fastop though!

It's not a VIP, it's a Fury III. The trim is correct and looks good with the argent still in good shape. Those quarters are suspect though. I'm partial to formal roofs too. Same color combo as mine.

Love it! That roofline is sexy!

Again with my weird stuff about 67 and 68 C Bodies ... this one would be my favorite of the four 2 dr Fury bodies of those years: 68 rear end, non fast top. A bare bones gal as well and in my favorite color.

Oops! Too many cars or temporarily lost my reading ability? Anyway, since the trim is correct, does that mean Fury III did not have wheelwell mouldings?

Not a quality pic of my Fury but it does have wheel opening mouldings. If the car came with skirts it did not have chrome around the rear wheel opening, the chrome was on the skirt. If ordered without skirts but with wheel opening chrome the mouldings would have been on all four.

Great car! Never really liked the fastop.

A '68 Fury III should have rear wheel opening moldings or skirts with wheel opening moldings.
