I have a 1968 Plymouth Fury Sport Fury 2 door Hardtop 383 auto car for sale. First off, long story short.. I got this car from a guy that just wanted it for the engine and trans and he was going to crush the rest. I got it from him before he could do that so now ive got it and its complete minus the engine and trans. Its a 383 HP auto car, Power steering, Power brakes, Bucket seat with buddy seat in the center, 8 3/4 rear end. Dark green with dark green interior with rocker moldings.
Ok.. for the bad. At one point back in the day, someone pulled the vinyl top and replaced it by putting foam under the new top. It completely killed the roof of the car and is VERY rusty as you can see in the pictures. It could either be converted as a custom or a new top will have to be welded in. The rear quarters have rust in the lower sections as usual and the top around the sail panel area from the top. The floors of the car are surprisingly in pretty good shape with one spot on the passenger side which can be seen in the photos. I ripped the carpet out to clean it up and to see what the floors looked like. The trunk floor is in decent shape but someone put fiberglass in the center where it was getting soft. But its ok. Drip rail areas in the trunk are in great shape. Doors, fenders, and hood are all in great shape. Fenders might have a couple spots here and there. Bumpers are in great shape with no dents that I saw.
When the engine was pulled they cut the radiator support out but I still have the piece they cut out so it could be welded back in. The Hood latch panel was unbolted and in great shape. Grille and all the accessories are there but were pulled so they werent damaged for the engine pull. Grille is in nice shape, even the mesh at the bottom looks good. Grill does have one spot that was bent but not bad. Headlight bezels are in great shape.
This car has all the glass, Trim, Emblems, and Im sure the rocker moldings are hard to find and they are in good shape. Not seen in any of the photos, but does come with the car is the Rear quarter panel wheel covers that cover the rear wheels. They are in great shape but were taken off to air up the tires. All the original hubcaps come with the car but the two front tires were put on the car to load on the trailer. Magnum does not come with the car.
The car has a CLEAR Mississippi title, and I would rather sale it outright but I might consider parting it out if no one is interested in buy the whole thing. I will not ship any of the large items though. Will ship smaller stuff. I'm asking $550 for everything. Car is located in the Jackson, Mississippi area.
