Can't really, but looking at the color and the single snorkel air cleaner. But, to my question, what does K signify? I know G is 383 and L 440 HP.

K is the 440 on that car, standard issue.

That engine does look narrow like a 383/400 also the color on the valve covers, a 440 is a little wider. As my convertible has a 383 and the 300 hardtop has a 440
