im putting up my dads 69 300 convertible. same as a new yorker but fancier. he bought the car in 87. it has sat in that same spot ever since in our building. the car is light blue with dark blue interior and a white top. it needs paint. it has the original numbers matching 440 and auto transmission in it and everything on the car is original to it even the complete a/c system. it does run but it runs rough. should probably go through the motor. or just give it a tune up. the car has holes in the trunk floor sides but there is a trunk floor cut out of another car that goes with it. There is some rust by the brake booster. And a couple small holes in the bottom of the quarters behind the wheels. The worst part is along the rear window. The floors and frame are just surface rust rockers doors and fenders are super clean all original paint. The dash pad is even mint

off the top of my head i know there is the trunk floor section for the 300. a 300 front bumper, i have a glass window for the back of a convertible, toneau cover peices for the convert i think. extra complete convertible top assembly from a 70.

im open to offers this car is fairly rare

6one2- 7zero3- 174eight

I also have fenders and doors from the 70 Newport convert for sale separately
and know of another complete tan interior in a 69 300 and a mint rear bumper and grille.

Beautiful color combo, this one should most definitely be saved!

My gut tells me this car has lots of troubles......of the electrical kind. That bulk head connector looks like it may have been lit up like fireworks on the 4th of July at some point in the past......someones fooling around with the ignition key cylinder....newer looking starter relay......tell tale signs. A damn shame, but I'd run the other way...esp. with that asking price.

3K is steep.

Ya, you think...and with all those issues. He's probably thinking he'll unload it on someone just getting into this...they would cough up the dough b/c they wouldn't notice all those little warning signs, plus its a drop top.

LOL....... You guys kill me sometimes.....! Nit picking things like a replacement starter relay, (looks right to me), Ign switch is a dash mount in 69, not the column. Easy fix. I don't see any real issues at the bulkhead connector that some WD40 won't help. It's an old car........!

No one mentioned the body side moldings..... On a 300....? must be one of one.
The scary part is the dutchmans panel.
I paid a little more for Jazebelle 2 years ago and this car might be in a little better shape .... fair price I think. Just need a lot of TLC.

The key is it's a owner project car. If your just gonna write checks you'll be upside down before the primers blocked out.

That could be a nice vert when it's done........and Will is definitely the Tech Guru on this restoration.

whoever buys it needs will's dutchman

glad i got a car that was mainly rust free

Sorry Wil, I've seen WAY too many mopars with hack job electrical fixes.....this screams that loud and clear. The starter relay looks newer than the car....BIG tip off when ya put all the other incidentals together....and old Mopars already have rep's for quirky electrical systems. Easy fixes maybe.......but those GD electrical gremlins will have you walking home....and the bulk head connector, I'll bet that bad boy is fried on the inside. Nope. Be my guest you can take it.

Ok, just looked at all the pics and this one really doesn't look all that bad as far as the rust is concerned. With Will's words about it echoing in my brain I'm even going to say its reasonably priced.
