1969 with a 1970 nose. Gold with green interior is strange, but it looks solid.

I think we have discussed this car before. It used to be on CL. If I recall correctly the general assumption then was that the change of front bumper & grille must be due to a frontal crash. - To me it would sound reasonable enough, if some former owner just wanted to "upgrade" the car, to fool his neighbors. I used to know a guy who did a thing like that.

At any rate, the change of color in the roof has done good. Gold over gold looks impeccable. The details of the restoration, well not so much. There is a sizable patch of bondo at the right front corner of the trunk. It's just beginning to break up. I wonder how much bondo there is elsewhere? There's a curious sharp ding in the middle of the rear panel, just below the roof, and another one on top of the left fender, just in the middle. Pretty difficult to fix those without painting large sections of the rear end anew. The interior looks all right, and the car is well optioned. Odd color though, would get some time to get used to. No console shift, so pretty ordinary. Therefore, the eBay offerings went just through my roof.

it is not just a changed grille/bumper.
The complete front clip is from a 1970 (fenders/hood)
