This car belongs to a friend/customer of mine. While I agree the whole Hurst thing is silly this is a rust free 69 300 convertible. Solid floors and trunk floor. Yeah the 70 front clip is an issue but this is certainly NOT a $750 car. Combine this with one of the many rust buckets we've seen here (most of them are $3500 or more) and you have something.

If he really does have the Hurst parts (hood, deck lid, extensions, Imperial seats) then the asking price isn't too far out of line.

Obviously, I'm saying to resell the Hurst stuff to recoup half (?) of the asking price and not trying to make it all fit a 69 car.

He does have the Hurst pasts but I'm not sure he's including them. I will find out.

I know this sounds like a stupid question but did the 69 C bodies have a 4 speed standard as an option? I have never seen one. I know the 69 fury had a 3 on the tree. If there are any pictures out there I would sure like to see them.

That’s what I thought. So the peddles he has for sale would be from a 1969 C body 3 on the tree and then you would mate them to a 4 speed standard or the peddles are from a 68 or earlier car in which case they may not fit properly. Or has my train of thought Derailed?

Yea I'd think you would have some problem with peddles, as in trying to sell this ???
