I really like the white. It showcases the style. Who ever painted it paid attention to the detail of the accent stripes. They look to be the correct size and end just short of the moldings, like the originals.
Looks like an honest car for a fair price.

...and with white wall tires on road wheels yet. Other than that, nice set of wheels...I could do without the white paint also, kind of boring.

Yeah but the white body color AND white walls (dirty)....its just too much not to comment on.

Yeah, I wouldn't be caught dead in this POS. Really though, what I don't like about white cars is the body gaps show up black, as darker colors blend better and give a cleaner look.

I'm not a big fan of white cars, but the right white paint makes all the difference.

The Chrysler white isn't "bright" enough to me. There's a Chevy truck white (bet that Imperial is painted that) that is much brighter and looks good. The pearl white that Cadillac used is pretty nice too.

Don't know about early GM's.
GM white doesn't get any whiter than "Arctic White", though.
Spinnaker and Wimbledon have a lot of Sepia in them.

As stated n the past ....... White is the perfect shade to showcase a vehicles style and design. Most automotive designers will tell you that.
A less then attractive design will benefit from the application of color.

Commando1's Fun Fact #217:
Chrysler Spinnaker White and Ford Wimbledon White are a perfect match.
Collect them all.

Dont know what I was looking at earlier but this is what the good point was............... ( perhaps I was dazed at the 5 pages of new posts)

White paint is a blur to me Will. To me it blends the body lines and hides the lack of style

You lack the eye of a automotive stylest Dave ....... I think white is very elegant on any car, but hues and colors are great too.

My 65 Coronet 500 convertible is white with black top & interior. I've see the same car in several different colors and while perhaps the red and black look great, none stand up to the white on that car.

Perhaps but I touched up a Spinnaker White Fender with Wimbledon White and it blended perfectly. Ask Rush to find it. He won't.

The Wimbledon White on the top of my 65 F100 and the Eggshell White of the 73 Polara are an exact match.
