This one is a no brainer with a great color combo.

Not a deal breaker at all.

Getting a title in Arizona for it would ad about 2-3 hundred dollars and take about a month. That's the legitimate way. Of course there are ways to do it that are slightly under the table.

Big block, buckets, console, coupe, Chrysler, hideaway headlights and ac(if you’re into that sort of thing) and it’s not worth a little extra effort???:wtf:

Matt:

I think you oughta offer the guy $1000 for it, and settle on it for $1200. Go get a Michigan title for it, and then I'll give you $2000!

It's been decades since I lived there, but past a certain date, they did not issue titles in Alabama, just a tag receipt. If they have a tag receipt, then it will work as a title normally does in another state. Bluefury361 probably knows the rules better for that state. Just a thought. Super cool car restored btw.

I’m a slab guy, remember? :poke:
There are plenty of fuselage enthusiasts on here that shouldn’t let such a thing stand in their way.

1981 and older in Alabama only requires a notarized bill of sale..
No title required and no title issued on older cars...

Hey Guys, To a foreigner can you explain this "TITLE" thing that seems so important with a car purchase in Yankee land.
cheers..

It is the proof of ownership for a motor vehicle in this case and is a document necessary to get registration and plates. Our 50 states have varying rules about this document for classic cars. If a car no longer has its title it’s usually for the mundane reason that it was probably just lost or misplaced at some point but it could also mean that the car was stolen at some point. Without a title all you need to do is basically prove that the car wasn’t stolen and apply for a replacement title which in some states can be a pain.
