Not mine.

Back from my USA vacation. The car that I tried to buy was another tragedy... So, the search goes on...

Anyway there are 2 doors to much, but it's a beautiful car in nice condition.

That Imp is beautiful. Do I see a tow hitch??? This is the one you tried to buy or are you referring to another car?

Saw and started the car in person. Needs carb rebuild and or valve job, and yes receiver hitch. Color change and seats redone aftermarket?. He said was asking 6-7... Uff!

Was it the green 69 Crown coupe?
Please share your experience with us. What was wrong with it?

It was not the Crown again, I was not willing to pay more for second time... I tried to buy the other green one, the "barnfind" one. It was a very nice seller, all was perfect, we agreed, I payed the company for shipping and payment. And from this moment, the seller was unreachable... Don't answered phone, no text, no e-mails....

I could puke... -_-

Where was that one located? Sorry about your luck, you never know when you're dealing with a criminal...

That sucks, sorry to hear that. People get "funky" sometimes....you come across folks like that all the time unfortunately. Their "word" is worthless, I guess goes with the territory. Just hang in there...your "ship" is coming in...be ready to pounce immediately when it does.

I love it, 4 drs or not. Seriously gents, look at how nice of a car you can get for reasonably $$ for no other reason than it has 4 doors. Looks like she's optioned up nice too.

For myself my preference is the 2dr models.......BUT the would not stop me from grabbing a nice 4dr car....ESP. if it is an Imp as nice as this one. It would be mine.

It's not only the number of the doors. The roofline of the coupe looks better.

Parked at a repair shop. In the midst of conversation with shop owner explaining it needing a valve job quickly reduced to maybe just needing carb rebuild as car owner showed up, as he thought I might be interested. The paint job is very nice and beats the original dark gold/copper. Engine bay looked 169K... hard to say. I'm thinking half the $ or less if needing engine work... was not running well when I looked at the car a week ago. I have the guys(David) phone number still in my phone... small world Lol

That maybe explains why there are no pictures of the engine bay on CL

More than likely. Power trunk did not work, did not get a look. Windows had issues, typical. Oil pressure gauge out. Toggle switches for fan, ATC is out. I would be ticked if it showed up running as it were, see it too often in my business. Nice back drop for pics... smoke and mirrors
