I wonder if it's actually a 440 TNT. It doesn't have a dual snorkel air cleaner. Could TNT's come without one? Seems to be a nice, original car.

Never seen a turquoise TNT and i don,t think they sold imperials with dual snorkel.

Strange that these big cars didn,t have a right side mirror standard.......

I seriously doubt it. The last and possibly only year for a High Performance 440 in an Imperial was 68 it was called the ""440 Dual" High Performance V-8 Package which includes Dual-Snorkel Air Cleaner and Dual Exhausts " option code 390.
The dual snorkel in the Imperial was rated at 360 hp instead of 375...don't know why, but I surmise that the Imperial used "normal" exhaust manifolds. I can't prove it because I've never seen one.

However, Chrysler Corp has been found to have made wierd cars that should have never been, so the VIN would tell all.

Nice Imp.. Julian will have some new screen savers.

The 440 HP engine (TNT on Chryslers, Super Commando on Plymouth) was not available on Imperials at all.
All of the are k-code (E85) 350HP engines

Indeed, I've saved the pictures! Nice Imp.

First I thought it is deep plum, but unfortunately it's "just" Dark Briar Poly.

Usually i dont warm up for 4dr, but somehow Imperials looks nice as 4dr.

Good eye, while it could be had on any car for an extra ten or so dollars it was rarely checked off. I was however under the impression that the Imperials had them standard and most New yorkers? Might this be a passenger side delete mirror car? I have seen a 69 Imperial 4 door, delete A/C and radio.

Not a single one Fuselage Imp came with the TNT out of the factory gates. - And only an estimated 10 % of the Fuselage New Yorkers were so equipped. As to the A/C delete, I suppose it was quite common in Alberta. Back in the day, the A/C was deemed as unnecessary because of the relatively cool summers. It was the same over here.

You paraphrased me, if you re-read my original quote you will realize it concerned the passenger door mirror only, no mention of the TNT as this was already established and is quite obvious from the single exhaust dribble. Thanks
