That poor car. Guessing the guy bought it sight unseen and is trying to unload it. This is the car on Seattle CL with the side damage.

A Crown Imperial (with the large rear window) four-door hardtop none the less.

Judging from the square rearview mirror the car now sports on the replaced driver's side door I assume the donor car was a 1971 Chrysler.

He's got an ad on FB marketplace parting it out now.

dang ..

First, I ain't dissing its previous/current/future owner(s). None of my business what they did/do with their money and property,

I fear an ignominious end for this car though, assuming its condition doesn't necessitate parting it out.

I am tempted to try to save it from destruction. that would require a vetting of the car, a negotiation around price ,etc ... bad time of year for me, plus I got other projects.

On the other hand .. assuming its not an economical "resto", its probably got parts worth saving .. example, the powertrain would go nicely in one of the 69 300 verts I have in the project cueue.

From this distance, I am NOT sure the impact this car took would require it to be "totalled" (we flogged that horse in another thread), OR it just still has not found a home where both interest and lettuce to bring it back?

Final answer .. nothing I can do here. :(

I just hope next time we encounter it its truly been "saved", or we know where some of its pieces went to save better cars
