This is my 1969 Chrysler Newport convertible. We all know that Chrysler C-body convertibles rarely pop up for sale these days. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill Newport. This car is estimated to be 1 of 250 built with the “Sportsgrain” option. This option adds the woodgrain trim. This Newport has been sitting since 1984 and needs A LOT of work. It definitely looks better in pictures. It is going to need quite a bit of metal work. The interior is in beautiful shape. The original 383 is locked up. I don’t want to see this car parted out, I just don’t have the time to restore it. Please contact me for more information. I have more pictures as well. I’m asking $2,000. Thank you!

Thank you very much.

A58 is not a common code.

This is a good example why it's good idea to share pics of tags, Broadcast sheets, window stickers etc. Guys like me that build data bases and spreadsheets really appreciate it when info like this pops up. It also shows us what codes were placed where on tags.

As much as I am not a fan of the straight line, these wood grain panels look great against that newport.

Why are the pictures scrubbed from the 2016 thread?

Do pictures get scrubbed here?

The $2K ask is very reasonable. Find a running 383, replace the stub frame and rebuild the forward spring perch and you have a nice rare car to drive.

Might of been from the Photo Bucket implosion years ago. A few years ago I had Joey unlock my thread and then spent a weekend uploading new photos to replace the the Photobucket ransom ware.

Looks like it needs a trasmission / tortion bar crossmember as well.

Thats part of the stub. Swap that. Cut the torque box apart to see how bad it is. Fix whats needed.

Car is worth every penny.

I wish I could take it on as a personal project but I have too many of those...if someone wants it and sends it my way though...
