For sale
1969 Chrysler Newport convertible from what I know it has a 383 but could be the 440. With a 727 behind it that has been recently rebuilt by a shop. Dual exhaust and electronical ignition. Has a carter avs that has also been rebuilt by a shop. And brakes that are all new and ready to go by a shop. A full tube up and carb tune was done by a shop. Runs really good...
So what I know about the car is I purchased it 10 years ago from a guy in Bremerton Washington it had just got out of the paint and body shop and was still disassembled. There was no title just a bill of sale. I took it home and started the rebuild. First was the transmission then the brakes and then the motor. Very slow process for me.. the convertible top was in bad shape so I ordered and got a new top for it.. which is still new and is in the truck still. I have a load of parts for it but it still needs some love. It has the grill headlights and bumper off a 300 and I have a set of taillights for a 300 too. I could never find the Newport bumper and grill I needed for a price I could afford. All the glass is there and in good shape. All the interior is there but could use a good upholster.. all switches and gauges work even the hydraulics on the convertible top. Almost forgot the radiator is original. I had it recored at a radiator shop in fife Washington. I have since moved to western oregon and it moved with me .. it drove all the way here under it's own power. It's time to let it go... if I don't find her a new home real soon I have a standing offer to sell just the drivetrain.
