1969 Chrysler newport Custom - $5000

This car is from Florida, only has 78000 orig. miles. Has new transmission and has been gone through by mechanic everything is solid. Interior needs a little work seats have rips but all the hard stuff is done . Paint and top and motor is perfect. Car also has zebar undercoating from 1969. It is a good driver I just have to many cars and do not drive it enough to keep any longer.Email me if any questions.

I know you seen the interior and the rust on the floorboards. I just wonder what the engine compartment, trunk, and underbody look like.

I would say what you're seeing on the floorboard is the jute padding under the carpet. Mine was that same color in my `67 and it is way thicker then the carpet. That is a sweet looking car and worth considerably more then 2K! I'd say it would be well bought at $3,500.

What I don't understand is they did a half decent job taking care of the outside of the car, why the heck did they fail so miserably with the inside. I was expecting to see a relatively nice and unmolested interior.

Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me it looks like the dash pad is cracked in a few spots as well.
