Oh boy, don't think I've ever seen a more sun baked dash than this one.
Lotta pic's we'll just concentrate on the car. Read text thoroughly sounds motivated.
1969 Dodge Polara - 383. - $1000 (Tonopah)
title status:
clean

For Sale: 1969 Dodge Polara - 383. New, clean AZ title in my name.
Body very straight with a few minor dings, on the right side. Light flattening on the passenger rear door contour which transitions to the wheel well. Very light surface rust on this area only. Passenger doors have white paint powered off and down to the dark primer. All chrome present and in good shape. All turn signals, tail lights, headlights, and associated chrome housings, bezels, grill, etc are present and in very good shape. Pictures show this clearly.
Doors and hood open and close. Engine is a 383 as an upgrade option as shown in the original catalog / brochure. Engine is complete and sealed. No valve covers have been off, and air cleaner has been on. Judging by the undisturbed dust layer this has been sitting complete, just as my other listing for the '68 Mercury for more than 20 years in the desert near Queen Creek.
Overall, the bad is that the car has sat for a long time and has the sun baked complete interior to show for it. No keys either, but steering is not locked, nor are the doors.
Overall, the good is that besides the rub that happened on the rear passenger side, it's a great and solid project shell to do whatever you'd like with. All the glass is present and in great shape. Like the Mercury in my other post the windshield doesn't have a single crack or even a rock chip. With some body work massaging on the right side, and interior tune up, this could be an awesome American iron family car, a full restoration, or a quick and fun cop car clone project as the last couple pictures shows what could be. Again it has a new, clean AZ title in my name.
I bought this car in a lot along with three others and just looking to get my money back out of it. Selling (2) of them, this Polara and the '68 Mercury Commuter. Keeping the '68 Galaxie, and the '65 Olds JetStar 88 seen in the background.
$1000 OBO. 6two3-68zero-9four7nine
EDIT: new pictures added due to info given to me by an interested buyer. Apparently most these Mopars of this vintage suffered from rusty trunk floors. Even though this car has every sign of being a desert car and no other rust in other places, it has a poor trunk floor. I can knock off a hundred to help with cost of repair.
Picture of brake and gas pedal wear as well, which leads me to think it may have the actual miles shown at 32,000.
