Looks to be a decent deal, it looks like a lot of work went into it before the fire damage.

Certainly repairable but not economically feasible if you start out with that high a purchase price. Looks like it was too close to something else that was burning and not the actual target of the fire.

WOW.....! deal....! Lets see, body & paint, complete interior & dash, top, glass, underhood repairs, wiring........ I bet you could get it going down the road for 15K..... If you did it yourself.
Buy the car for ...say 6K, only 21K invested in a 10K car

Well apparently their $36,500 car value is taken right off of the Barrett Jackson Auction site, This car is a original 318 engine car without very many options other than A/C and a Fury III, I would love to see what value they would place on my loaded 383 Sport Fury Vert. :pocket_decoder:

The fire damage doesn't look that bad, it would require boots on the ground for sure. Even if the fire damage was limited to paint and top I still only see a $2,500 car.

I agree with the boots on the ground, To me looking at just the pictures it seems like prior to the fire it was probably a pretty nicely restored or kept car, The engine compartment shows no signs of obvious rust and the body looks very decent without any noticeable bubbles other than the heat / burn blisters. The interior dash & panels look good as does the chrome throughout the car does not look pitted. But again who knows without a up close & personal look at it. My thought would be 3500 / 4000 MAX. Hell I have seen a lot worse rust buckets out there for that kind of cash.

Shoot some clear inside and out and call it good.

The vinal interior got pretty hot. Looks like it started to blister in places. That much heat likely will render the interior unserviceable.

This is true, new pads covers..... I got the rear seat, I got the door panels, got the dash, got the roof, Hmmm Hell I can turn it into a sport fury ........... :eusa_think:

I just need to buy it right ...... OH CRAP !!!!!!!! I need a place to put it ....... :BangHead:

funny how heat melted the dash vent but not the gauges. it might need some behind the dash work. plymouth emblem is missing from the trunk lid which is a good sign of previous body work.

It has a set of '78 NYB Salon wheels with the one-year reflective trim rings. I'm with you guys on the $2,500 figure. A LOT of work, but not insurmountable.

no, it was already repainted.

patina is only good if it is an original unrestored car (no repaints)
