HI, I'm looking for some of these parts at the moment; for a '69 Plymouth Fury...
. `1969 or 1970 C-body original slant 6 or even a 318 19" or 22" -those are the ones with the large rounded top tank. #s might be 3443980-2949047-2949050-2949049.
the plastic cowl vent cover- with no broken pieces-the '69 is different from the '70.
.that police zipper headliner?
.2 door strikers (again the 69 is diff. from the 70. I want to restore em.
thanks
mk.

The 69 had two different cowl screens: Early (metal screen), late (plastic, probably the same as 70)
The 69 had two different striker posts: Early (hex), late (torq)

regarding the cowl cover;

I agree with @MrMoparCHP / can confirm my October 68 (A31!) Fury had the metal/mesh cowl cover and later production cars (March '69??) got the plastic molded ones. Honestly, i thought someone had shoved gutter/eavestrough screen in there - looks out of place and they rust out.

Anyway, I got tired of nicking my fingers on that wire mesh and snagging stuff on it when washing the car so I replaced it with a plastic one. I might still have the metal/mesh one around, message me if that's of interest.

Thanks for all that cool info. I always thought those screen door type screens were someone being tacky also!
My car has a build date of april 1 (pretty funny) so I do have the plastic cover. I must have been on paint fumes when I was comparing cowl covers because youre right--the 70 ones are the same as the 69 and I have a stack of good '70's.
thanks again.
