I saw this one for the past couple of weeks.

Does anyone know whether the salt would have attacked the under carriage (based on the photos) and seller's location?

Depends on how much winter it saw, we need better pic's of body and underside like Georg/DFL said. The buffalo area does get a lot of snow so I would say it saw salt sometime in it's life unless it came from a warmer climate.

the back to front driver side shot says a lot. It's already seen extensive work as the reflections are uneven.. In shape and sheen. Try n get some belly shots if you can but I wouldn't be surprised by any issues... Lotza salt in Buffalo.

A car can survive our winters fine of they've been garaged regularly.
Even today's cars will rust if never garaged or washed regularly.

Straight aftermarket shackles on the rear. Should have the offset shackles, so something has been fudged to make them work.
