Priced a bit high for a "patina" car with 318 don't you think?

1969 PLYMOUTH FURY 3 BARN FIND

This is a sun baked florida car which belonged to my aunt at their summer home. Estates get sold and people pass away. the car had been sitting for at least 6 years that i am aware of. it is now running and driving as great as can be. it has a new carb, gas tank, sending unit, starter, rear shocks, braking system and master cylinder, all new hoses and belts, spark plugs, and fluids, new battery and alternator, new cragar rims and new tires. the rest of the car is completely unrestored with 39,000 original miles. i have the original build sheet, and the original one owner Illinois title from 1969. Jim Edgar was secretary of state. some neat options are the FM 8 track radio, vinyl top, and fender skirts. it is a 318 v8 with an automatic trans. Believe it or not everything works except the clock, even the washer juicer works. I have the original rims and hubcaps which also go with the car. Florida car with no AC? Booster shocks are a red flag. Pricey for a 318 car. Love the color, and the rims are not that bad. 39k on the OD looks a little fishy....

Why do the Chevy Cretans mess up a perfectly good car and then try to sell it for twice what it is worth. Engine painted orange, not red, engine compartment black, not body color, and so on. Why screw up a nice car.

I'll tell you why, people do not do research as to how a car should be like me I want mopar/c-body coming from a cadillac each has thier own unique differences but I'm not jumping to buy one until I am confident I know all I need to know about them to purchase one. I have my eye on one but I was skeptical because of the red engine now I found out its supposed to be that way might take another look by the way the one I'm looking at is same car and colors just in better shape for 1/3 this price.

We have many "C" body experts on this site. If you are looking into one, take many pictures and post them. We will look them over and tell you what is correct, and what is not. We guys stick together.
