That one popped up in my local CL search a week or so ago, imagine my excitement to see a 'local' VIP listed.
Imagine my disappointment when I saw what it was...

Agreed ....the two doors built in 69 are extremely scarce . I've only seen a few that I can recall.

It has a chance of being something nice but those chances are slim

High Flow mechanical Fuel Pump/ Fuel Cell w/ 1/2inch fuel line. Hooker Super Comp Headers/ Thrush Weld mufflers. Hell fire rings & bearings. Motor has maybe 300miles. 35-4000 Stall Turbo Precision Torque Converter w/ anti balloon plates. 727 Transmission bigger clutches Kevlar Bands & manual Valve body. 8 3/4 391 gears. B&M ratchet shifter.

My Note: Am I correct in that it appears to me that someone filled in the Fury II Emblem on the front fenders with bondo for the blue/stripe paint job and then someone chiseled out all the bondo?

Good eye, yes it does kinda look like that.
And the only thing I can see well enough to show this as a VIP is the passside doorpanel, but with all the molestation here I'd say that doesn't mean anything. Poor car.
