I hat contact with the seller 2 weeks ago , there were no pix at that moment so i asked him to send some.
Then he put them in the ad and i told him okay we have a deal , a day later it was sold to someone else.
It was a green 2dr 318 car , didn,t run , looked very solid and he was asking 1200,- dollars.
There was a blue/green modtop installated.

Paisley Furys were buillt in 1970 and 1971 as well as tortoise grain and gator roof on various other C-Body models from 69&up but not the "Mod Top" (flower) roof
The only "flowery" topped C bodies were the very rare 71 Imperial LeBarons...the tops faded in funky ways that was not popular with the Imperial crowd so many were swapped to black or white vinyl from the factory.
Some pics below...first one showing an amazing, well preserved original showing the colours they had with the top not faded...others in various states of fading.
That's what I believe to be true but as always with old Mopars, you never know. Since I haven't seen the tag photo yet I presume it to be non original.
it wasn't a "flower" option Bob.
Chrysler got screwed by the company who delivered the material.
The company who produced the v-roof material took old stock they had (with the flowers on it) and painted the material burgundy. Chrysler offered the V1M burgundy V-roof on Imperials only. After being in the sunlight the roofcolour faded and the "flowers" became visible.
It is nothing that Chrysler or the owners of the Imperials wanted or ordered.
It was simply a mess up from the company who delivered the v-roof material.
For that reason the optional V1M v-roof got discontinued during the modelyear
It wasn't all even burgundy in NOS condition though as it seems. So a slight floral design was part of the design intention according to the article and catalog sample. I thought before reading excellent info that it was supposed to be all one shade of burgundy.
