DM27H9D132601 is currently for sale on CL in Hewitt near Waco, TX. This car was for sale back in 2018 and was discussed here. I must say that I liked the car much better then, as it still had all its Polara 500-specific trim.

From the ad (punctuation added):

"Bought for original owner (10 years ago), who bought it new a week after getting home from Vietnam. 90,400 miles on odometer (with are correct), 8k on new 383 long block. Car runs strong as it should shift correctly, no rear end noise. I change color on car since I have a paint and body guy working for me. Light blue to midnight blue w matte black hood and trunk inserts (looks really good). new 225/75/15 tires on ft w new rims and 270/75/15 on back w matching rims (looks mean), automatic top (top has small 3/4” hole near back, that’s caused by top bow other than that top in great shape) PsPbPw (the freeze we had in January made windows slow). My guy working on that crack windshield in ft of passenger, padded dash is cracked in several places (have mat on the dash), bucket seats are in good shape, radio doesn’t work (I’m not radio person so I never fixed).

I’m 82 an do this as a hobby and my way (I listen to others when it comes to my stuff and then it slowly fades away), engine compartment is detailed (7) this is not a national show car but you will get lots of looks very nice car for the money.

I’m not a car dealer, just an old man that likes to mess with cars. I’ve described the car to the best of my ability. As is where is thanks for your time.

...Light blue to midnight blue w matte black hood and trunk inserts (looks really good). ...
So we know he's lied about at least one thing...

Seeing that car from 2018 turned into this abomination is why I keep buying cars and not selling any; I can't bear to think of someone doing something like this to one of my (not popular, not worth anything) cars.

Olds /Cad air cleaner
Click/ clack fuel pump
80s wheels
Gotsta go

... I have a paint and body guy working for me...
It's hard to tell how good/bad the paint and body guy is because he sure needs to hire a photographer.
On 2nd thought - the photographer knew exactly how to photograph this car...

The part about it that says it's midnight blue, (looks black to me) or the part that says it looks really good?

I don't think he's intentionally lying about anything, just has different tastes/standards.

I can personally tell you that Midnight Blue (B9) looks black and is hard to photograph and look blue
