The new speaker grilles arrived in Australia this morning from Bildog who arranged manufacture of them and I have to say you can not tell the difference between the old and new apart from the fact that they are much stronger due to being made out of stainless instead of aluminium. I couldn't wait so opened up the box and took my 2 out the other two are going interstate. I have posted some pictures of the install. Used Rapidfix 2 part compound to set the new grill, back support bar and 300 badge in and I could not get them apart so the Rapidfix is the way to go.
Above is the new one from Bildog and below the old one which I tested drilling and punching the holes but drilling was best. The RF is a two part compound first add the power then a drop of the adhesive with 10 seconds its hard as steel it was clean and strong. THANKS FOR THE EFFORTS BILDOG.
