Looks like a typical high desert Az car. That means could be rustier than you think. Sure looks like a real turtle top.

Saw it on FB market today.

Snow up north. Kingman flagstaff Winslow Holbrook Prescott all get more rain and sometimes feet of snow that melts then more snow. I guess the on again off again with the snow is worse rust wise than just months of snow that just melts once.

LoL no, Az uses cinders. It’s mostly dry hot and dry cold in Az except where they get snow. Low desert is Hot and dry. High desert is Hot, Cold, windy, mostly dry w snow sometimes. It does get cold in the low desert (don’t laugh you Canadians) 20s & 30’s. That’s what usually kills lost hikers from exposure. They tough out the blistering day and then the cold at night gets them. The cities retain heat like a madman but if you’re driving out of town with the windows down you can feel the temp drop when you hit the edge of the heat bubble. It’s a pretty dramatic drop.

But do those areas salt the roads?

Flagstaff in northern Arizona has been using a salt brine the past few years. I have an older car trailer with very little paint left on it. I went up there last winter to get a car. The roads were covered in snow/slush. The next day I came out and my trailer was bright rusty orange! :BangHead:
