I have a 1969 plymouth VIP im looking to part ways with.

Its a fury style car and THE LAST YEAR THE VIP OPTION WAS AVAILABLE.
Only 1059 of the hardtop 4 door vip were made this year

4 door hardtop
383 big block 6.3L 2 barrel
True duel exhaust
Automatic trans
Rare option on it "turnpike cruiser"
With 2.76:1 axel ratio
All original from what i can tell.

Its a nice cruiser and good on the gas. Had alot of fun just need the money now and next project.

Does have carb problems but can easily be fixed needs battery and could use a tune up i havent had the time to pull it out this year. Besides that its a blast and you will love it!!!

Serious offers only!!!!!! 970. 9390

I had to research this option as I was not familiar with it......from the Internet,

A new and little-known '69 Fury option grouped a two-barrel 383 V-8 with cruise control, power front-disc brakes, long-legged 2.76:1 axle ratio, undercoating, and headlamps-on warning lamp. Plymouth called this the "Turnpike Cruising Package." (One wonders whether they checked that name with Mercury.)

Never heard about this package for Plymouth, but I knew about the package of the same Name from Oldsmobile from around 1967 with similar credentials wondering about the choice of designation.

Its back again. I was wondering when it would resurface. This was my backup plan if Minnesota wasn't a keeper.

Looks like a car I looked at years ago, in Minnesota. Sounds like the same issue, it ran, but carb needed work. The one I looked at has wheel covers.

I find this model/year extremely attractive...there's a green one and a tan one in my town. Can't find a pic of the tan one.

I really like the 69 VIP's a little more...2 in my little town of 26K.
Doc, are they VIP's or Sport Fury's?

Where Doc lives, I highly doing they are parts cars .This cities have regulations against people like me, with a car torn apart all summer. (I seriously can't thank derby guys for my ability to strip a car at my house, thanks guys!) But I may be wrong on this part.

They are both VIPs that are drivers...I was going to buy that green one last year.

Finally found pic of the tan one...these two Furys live and are out and about in my little town. I see the tan one a couple times a week. Caught it once at the store. The green one lives at the landscaping store close by.
VIP versus Sport Fury still a learning curve for me to spot on the fly.
