Connecticut or Massachusetts .
Sticker on the trunk { John Collins Conn }
Car was 30 years in a barn so there is something to do........

It seems that your buddy made a nice score. Is the quarter panel rusted out or dented?

Well , the owner was very honest , almost 80 year old guy and told him anything he wanted to know.....
There were mice in it so it,s not smelling like new ( lol ).
The engine is stuck and will be rebuild ( yes he knew ).
Whe put a battery in it and almost everything works , even the conv top!!
He will do the (normal ) things that you have to do with a car sitting for so long , engine , brakes , tank/lines , frontend kit etc.....

He wants one so i told him there were a few on CL........
It was the ad without pix , maybe someone remember it ( 30 years in a barn )( 4 months ago i think ).
The house is bigger then you think( just can,t see it ) and there,s a nice garage behind .

Does the engine spin? With all that rat infestation, it seems some urine could have gone down the intake and done some damage to the cylinders. At least that is what I found with one of the cars I got that looked like that in the air cleaner.

The engine is stuck , the owners son ( not a car-guy )would try to make it run but we asked not to do that because we know you can brake more then you repair.

A definite treasure!

And that's why you don't need photos to sell a car ...If you're curious you're gonna look into it anyway. No photos usually cut down on the tire kickers

So true Dave. Jazebelle was a CL no photo with thin description. It just talked to me and I followed up.
The seller said he hadn't had much response to his ad.

This car looks like a great find, I'm glad it found the right caretaker.
