1970 300 convertible in jade green - not mine

i found another '70 300 convertible, montgomery, alabama area, wht top/interior,base 440/flr shift/pw/ac, price is $5500, owner needs to sell right away, it is a driver, has been repainted but had some work in the front of the wheelwells. i have a few pics and the phone #, pm me if interested.

BTW, before anyone asks, I am not buying the car because i hate the exterior color and I don't have pics of the underside, i'm a stickler for that stuff.

1077 1970 300 rags made, 500+ surviving, or so it seems.

a 1970 polara convertible with the same options the 300 has, in a different body color, preferably blue. Do you want me to buy this one? BTW, i'm more concerned abt rust than the body color.

That is a nice coupe. I'll have to watch the bid. Maybe a last minute offer. I'm leary of the rust. I don't think the reserve will be reasonable on this one.

I would have to fly up and inspect the car first before bidding. We'll see where the bidding goes. I'll give the guy a free oil change if he'll let me take it to a Jiffy Lube with my magnet and flashlight. I have a self imposed policy of not bidding/buying any car without my boots on the ground and eyeballing it first.

Bob, a lot of times I get vibes about the seller from the way the ad is written. This one is giving me very good vibes.
Calgary is like on another planet for me but it's more practical for you. I hope you persue this one and hopefully it will find a good home. He sounds like an honest description of the Imp although the best con men are the ones that sound the most honest. Git'er done.

I'm about 15 miles north of birmingham which is about 85 miles north of Montgomery. Not to far off. I would be happy to take a look at the car for someone who is serious. Might cost lunch though.

Ok, will let you know, 'lunch' is no problem. Were the car not Jade Green, this would be a no brainer. just noticed on the half tag pic he sent that the car has pwr discs and dual ac/heat too........all it needs is a tilt wheel.
