Found this radiator sitting in my '70 Roadrunner awhile back. Very sound condition. Books shows it to be a 1970 C-body A12 radiator. A12 being the Hurst 300 option. Am I mistaken? I'm by no means an expert on C bodies. I have the shroud for it. WIW?

Correct number for 1970 C bodies with A/C. Was not specific to Hurst A12 cars.

In other words, nothing special... Price would depend on condition only... Nobody is going to go crazy for the tank numbers.

I probably would go crazy for tank numbers but I would recore it regardless. So the whole thing may be worth fifty . With a good shroud add another 75

http://www.mymopar.com/radiatorspecs.htm shows it as a 26" radiator for a 1970 300 w/440. so not really anything special. The cost of re-coring a radiator is obscene. So unless you're doing a concourse restoration it's not worth much. I went with a champion aluminum rad in my 66 charger because to get the original rad re-cored was 450-500 bucks.

I've got the same radiator that I've been hauling to swap meets for two years now. At $50 it's still been a no sale. Now the shroud that's a different story. That sold right away.

OK, Galen's book shows it as a one and only for a12 '70 300 Hurst cars. Thanks for the good information. It's has a good home in my '70 Runner so I'll probably just leave it there. Thought maybe I struck gold when I saw how it was listed :)

Technically it would be correct that it is a one and only for Hurst cars. All the Hurst cars would have used the same rad, but that was not to say it wasn't used in other cars as well.

True, I believe when I looked mine up it said 1970 300's including Hurst cars.
