1970 chrysler 300. 383/727 clean/clear title. located in New Philadelphia oh 44663. $4000 obo I am listing this car for a buddy who isn't on any of the mopar pages, this car has been sitting since 1978-79. I was in the process of getting this to be a running/driving car but have since found that the frame has some soft spots in it and is starting to buckel and crush when being jacked up. Car has nice black interior and a nice black top. He was told it had been recovered rite before it was parked. There is some previous body work that had been done around the car along with a repaint, it was originally dark green. Brakes do seem to be working and motor is turning over. I will update the add with interior pictures/engine and frame area later this evening. Car is very complete and would either be a good parts car or repair and become a driver.

If this was green then they did a terrific job with the color change, engine room, door jambs, etc. Also did a great job of reproducing the factory pin stripe. I can even see some evidence of the black out on the rocker. I suspect this is very original and seller does not know much about this car.

I don't see dark green, but perhaps very faded and dirty gold. Of course the inner fenders are black originally.

I'm not talking about the wheel well but the part of the fender under the hood.

Hard to tell, but they look gold to me. even the hood hinges. All I'm saying is we need to remember the lesson of the Craig's List Moron thread. Everyone thought the blue '70 300 was a joke until @ayilar scored a diamond.

That's a great deal for someone who wants to put the work into it. I'd be willing to bet it gets snapped up pretty quickly. It's missing the 1/4 panel lower trim which might suggest some filler in the quarters.

No one knows that more than me. I always look at all cars that interest me ( 70/71 Polaras).

I understand your thoughts, completely. I thought it would be a good buy with the frame swap before this conversation.
So, we're the fenders swapped and the 383 sticker still on there from a Newport?

Someone's gotta get to the bottom of this.

Looks like a perfect black interior to complete the 12K TNT 1970 300 convertible for sale with the current red non-factory interior. bucket seats, headrests, nice steering wheel......
