Ok, reminder to the seller to delete the ad and put us pictures of your beautiful.

That one looks promising.

A friend of mine was considering that car about 4 months ago when it was for sale. It has a lot of problems, so be careful to check it out thoroughly before you jump for it. A lot of unoriginal stuff done to it too.

WTF...
That is a pic of a pic that was printed out from a printer running out of ink.
Cars for sale using a pic of a pic makes me the Super Cynic.

You guys are to suspicious. Nothing sketchy here.. it's probably just a good old lithograph, and the seller is a struggling artist...

Wish the picture wasnt as old as some good scotch. One thing we know for sure is the headlight doors don't work.

Ok guys I called on it. I talked to the woman for 20 minutes and found out this must be an old picture. It's been sitting out in the desert for a few years. Doesn't run, needs interior work and the macco paint job needs redone again. On the plus side it supposedly is rust free, has a floor shift/console and she said she'd take $3000 for it. If I was looking for a project I'd take a trip to Tucson and check it out but I'm not. If anyone is interested give her a call but be prepared, she's a talker!

Based on my experience with Maaco some years ago, the paint need rework after the 1st time I washed it.

Why do you say the Headlight doors do not work? Just wondering? When I park my 1970 Chrysler 300 the headlights door closes based on if I turn the lights off before I turn the ignition off or not. If the lights are turned off first, the doors close, if the ignition is off first, the doors stay open. Maybe my car is wired wrong!

You may be able to tell me what is wrong with my power windows !

Yours are the way they're supposed to be. In most cases when a car is parked especially during the day, the lights are off so the doors would be closed. Usually the only time someone would leave the lights on and turn the ignition off first is by mistake. This pic was taken during the day.. one can only assume that their is a problem with the doors. As far as your power windows goes, you have to be more specific.

"I don't have a current picture but here's a water color I made of it 20 yrs ago while on a rather intense mix of PCP and ketamine."

The car has been hit pretty hard on the driver side rear quarter I believe it was, and even the rear axle had to be replaced. Macco did the body work and paint, and it was done poorly - so plan on redoing it. Interior is all redone, including door panels in some fabric she liked. So plan on getting some new door panels if you want original. Car hasn't run in years, and I heard from my friend who talked with her at length that it was even up on blocks. And that console, and probably most of the rest of the interior, if the car has been in the sun of the Arizona desert, will be junk. She has had that car a long time, and she has been trying to sell it for at least 6 months with no takers. She told my friend about 4 months back she would take just $2500 for it after he got all the info out of her that he could. He said that she even suggested they go out on a date and also said she talked forever! He is a young guy and she is not. So expect a real debacle if you pursue it. You have been warned............
