not a buyer.

wouldnt enter a "bidding war" for it (cuz of the x-country shipping tab for it), but would pay $6K for it all day long (if engine not seized).

hope it finds a good home.

Sale pending. No-brain buy at that price, IMHO regardless of the engine, given the cosmetic condition.

good point boss ... I worry about long time sitting, but you're right that the outward condition would suggest that fear may be unfounded.

If I could have sent my flatbed over to get it, I woulda bought it at "starting price" (plus a bit more, but way less than the $2K to get an in-op moved 2,500+ miles)

moot point .. again hope it found an appreciative new owner.

aaand..it's being flipped for 15k..1970 Chrysler New Yorker Mint! 41077 Original Miles garage kept -...

"For sale is a beautiful all original 1970 Chrysler New Yorker with 41077 actual miles. The car has been garage kept its entire life and it shows. It even has its original date coded exhaust system. I acquired this car from the sister of the original owner and planned to keep it but I will be moving soon and it is just going to be too difficult to bring it with us and store it. The pictures of the car speak for themselves. It will need a new vinyl top as the original one has shrunk and I would also replace the carpet. With those two things...it will really look like a new car. It really is in amazing condition...you have to see it for yourself to believe it. Please call with any questions...thanks. 530-seven two three-2145."

I guess buyer got it running OK pretty quickly................

I wonder if the Autotemp 1 is working?

Too bad the family selling it got screwed.

CH23T0C255720 was, as I said, a no-brainer buy. The flipper will at least double his investment with mere cosmetics. Hopefully, that means the car will be saved.

This is the sixth ’70 NYer Coupe that I have seen for sale within the last 23 years. And among the best three, if not the best. A really nice car, very attractive color, and nicely optioned.

Except for Autotemp 1, I would have to agree with you.
