CE27L0C197506 is currently for sale in FB in Morse No 165, SK. This 70 Newport Convertible is a "parts car. No eng/trans. Car had a rough patch job back in the day, and it's all falling apart now. I bought it for the decent black interior, but only the door panels and front seat will fit my hardtop 71 300. I would sell the interior by itself as well."

I was interested in the car, because of its interior. Tried to team up with another member who owns a Newport 2dr to split parts (some for his car, 'vert specific parts for my rainy-day inventory), but the timing was bad for him and so I have passed. At CAD 1.4k, it is a no-brainer IMHO.

I have plenty of photos of the interior that the seller sent to me. He's very responsive, and agreed for me to post the info here.

This doesn't look like fun to fix, but at least you can stand up while you're doing it.
If the seller isn't not-picturing worse issues, and if the remainder of the 'falling apart' is not the understructure, then this car deserves saving.

The seller is being helpfully forthcoming with photos. He has one low-ball offer at the moment, I think it'd be a shame for it not to go to someone who can use the parts.

Here are interior pics.

And there's a rust hole, and I'd bet the 2 circled spots would be also if you poke them with a screwdriver.
I've seen that before when there's water intrusion higher up on the A-pillar

The seller was very clear that the car is shot. It is a parts car, and I was hoping to rescue the interior. That's not in the cards anymore, but I really hope it goes to a C-body 'vert owner who can use it.
