As far as I can tell, there were two color and trim books issued for 69 and 70. One was part of the data book but it showed only pictures of the fabrics. There was also a stand alone traditional larger size C/T book that had the fabric samples.
Fred found and sent the 1970 book with the fabric samples so that is now on Hamtramck Historical: http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/dealerships/1970ChryslerColorAndTrim-02.shtml
Also included in the book was an update for colored size moldings (V5* codes). The undated update is posted at the bottom of the web page. Apparently colored moldings were planned or issued early and then discontinued on the 300 and Newport.
Does anyone have any info on early built 1970 300's and Newport's with colored sided molding or was it never available making the first printing of the C/T book in error?
Enjoy!
Thanks Fred!
