if it´s truly silver metallic exterior color and light blue on the inside, it´s a fantastic and rare color combo unfortunately the rest is horrible

Wouldn't we need a fender tag to know that for sure? My 1970 sales brochure shows silver metallic as an option, although the color looks lighter than his paint. Gun metal gray might have been available special order.

Someone should ask for a picture of the fender tag to correct me. I recall talking to the previous owner If this color and interior were original - as I couldn’t buy It coming from the factory like that other than a special order. He mentioned that the original owner repainted it from blue but wanted to choose a factory color; so chose silver.

As I've read in the upholstery book , some color combinations were or were not recommended . Some required factory approval or money up front. I am not sure why Silver Poly with a blue interior wouldn't be a recommended combination .
