Number 216 of what? .... They aren't numbered. $25,000? This guy is funny..one owner?
OK who's gonna tell this guy

Maybe a 2,500 car........ It would help if it wasn't in a 5x5 storage room and you could see the whole car..........

Now here is an interesting example, I'd pay $8000 for this car before I would have paid $8000 for that wannabe CHP car. I'm not saying I'd pay $8000 for this but I would probably pay more than $2500. This car looks to be unmolested and in overall decent shape, does it run? Just sayin.

AND it seems like they're ALL coming up and outta the weeds nearly at the same time. I have to wonder about the pitman NJ car

no, a lot of bb e-bodies died.

But it really feels like 80% of the 300 Hurst are still out there.
They were expensive when new and special back in the day. So the owner were kind of wealthy and took care of their cars.
A lot of them seemed to have gotten parked at a point. Mostly inside. That explains why so many are still left out there.
Most of them are just drivers (condition 3-4 cars). There are a couple of great survivors but nearly no perfectly restored examples.

You missed the point Carsten, The BB E body reference is simple, theres more now then when they were made because of all the small block cars made into big blocks........thats all I was saying

I was diplomatic in my little email to him, which reads thus:

Your price is quite optimistic. These are not bringing $25K in restored condition. Hate to break it to you, but you have a $6K to $8K car there, assuming you have a good title and the car will run from its parking spot. Good luck

Eloquently put Patrick! However you also should also should have mentioned that he should have gotten off his lazy *** and pulled it out of his grandma's garage if he really wanted to get anywhere near even 5k for it!

ok, I got it now.
My thinking is different. An SB E-body which gets a BB thrown in is still an SB E-body to me.
But you are right, the amount of E-Bodys driving around now with a BB is more than built originally.
