Here is a listing for a 1970 Monaco coupe that looks decent and the price is right. I recall there were some on this site in the past looking for such a car, so I thought I would post it just in case. I already have one of these, so I don't need another one, otherwise I would consider it. Denver is a pretty good place to find cars that aren't rust buckets.

It would be a Rock SOLID car from that area too as I have got a few cars out of the Denver to Colorado springs area and they are very very solid. I wonder if it runs at all? Says it needs motor rebuilt but it would be nice if it could pull itself up on a trailer. If it were a grand less and I could mover my 69 floral top one I would be all over it.

New carpet seats and headliner? When, in '82???
Definitely a fair price if it is real solid though.

Looks like a solid car except around the rear window. That doesn't scare me anymore after fixing mine.

Good parts car for you

looked at it the other day and there is bubbles on the a pillar under the v top, some rust holes on the dutchman panel, also maaco bondo fore and aft the rear wheels, what scares me is the roof rust the v top has no holes or tears in it,but the owner mentioned roof rust before this top was put on,and the issue wasn't addressed then, would pull top off and take a look, also owner forgot trunk key, been sitting since 2k, my 02 cents he should of considered selling long before now.question is how much rust under the top is too much.he said he would take a few hundred $'s less when I was leaving.

:bs_flag: "Forgot trunk key" I always keep my trunk and ignition keys separate rings doesn't everyone?
I'd suspect that the trunk is pretty rusty.

Too bad about the rust issues. I guarantee the roof will have to have area's of sheet metal cut out and replaced. It is shocking to see the level of destruction that occurs under Mopar vinyl.

to be fair to the seller he drives a flatbed recovery truck and he was at work and the car was at a storage lot,and it seemed to me like an honest mistake, don't think he brought any keys the car does not run!
