Local for me, I'm tempted...a good scrubbing and a redone front seat might be all it needs.

Ok, I'm looking at the tape around the rear window....:icon_rolleyes:

I had a friend of mine check this out in Seattle and he said the engine runs really sweet, the body is straight and underneath is very good, the rear quarters have only surface rust and it hasn't rusted out the inner rear quarters, the tape is holding on the chrome mouldings as there is rust around the rear glass but he says it hasn't gone through just pretty scabby, the trunk however has water so there must be a hole somewhere?, if anyone is interested I can try and upload some video he took for me? it was up for $2500 last year! no bubbles on the rear pillar or even a hint!

it is close to your home.
At least way more than our home in europe

I'm really looking for a C wagon since I'm fixing up my house, I want the 4'x8' capacity. However, this would probably be much better than our Subaru Imp for hauling stuff.

With a low-ball offer I could probably get the wife on board with it.

I have 2 weeks vacation in May, after this coming week. I may go down and check this out if it is still there.

Ithas low miles in the 60's if I recall, my friend in Seatle went down and it ran sweet! - might need trans fluid to move it about and a master cylinder the yard guy says - but the underside pics my buddy took are very encouraging

Nice car - it is even a Newport Custom, not just a regular Newport. Does it have a/c? What is strange though, is it has regular Newport seats - the Custom model would have had nicer ones. But the side trim is definitely Custom. ???
