couple of things:

1, too much is right, that mint cond original from Bill Pettit's collection only went for 13,500, here's the link to pics of that:

2, that car has obviously been apart, and they decided to paint the eng compartment the wrong color......so you go through all this to make the car look nice, but you change a major detail like that? There is obviously more to this story than meets the eye.

I'd like to see the underside/trunk floor........if the only issue is that stuff under the hood was painted incorrectly, then IMO we are talking around 12K. And NOTE TO SELLER: pictures of the trunk that is full of stuff are useless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, sir THAT was the first thing I noticed, jumps right out at you.

That Pettit car was surely very nice, even though it was green outside. The white interior helps offset that a lot.

Did anybody notice the short armrest with ashtray on the doors? The car does look good.

just got a return email.........the fender tag from this car is missing

actually, now they just got back to me again.......the owner has the fender tag, just did not put it back on after repainting the car.

the deal breaker is that's it's not a polara, has to absolutely stand out for me not to buy a Polara..........

But you went ahead and inquired anyway when you already knew it was going to be another "yah but..."

LMFAO......yes, you got me

This is prob my biggest problem, after I guy a car I keep looking AROUND, afraid that I'm missing out on some other nicer car. I cannot seem to buy a car and just be happy with it.

But it wasnt a outstanding car. You gotta call to find out. If it was outstanding you dont want to miss out

I have a friend thats that way. He drives me crazy....!!!!He finds his dream car then right away starts thinking he would rather have something else... and starts worrying about it. He becomes so indecisive that I just have to leave.....In the past ten years he has gone froman original 27K mile panther pink 70 Challenger T/A.... to a original unrestored 19K mile plum crazy 70 Cuda 440 6bbl.... to a 69 Dodge Daytona.... to a 69 Dodge Daytona 500 4 sp th his current 70 B5 4sp 440 superbird..... All pristine originals.... He does seem to behappy at the moment.
