So! I just spoke with the owner, "Mike". He is owned the car since 1989. He purchased the car with intent of using it as a tow vehicle but when the transmission started to slip he parked it. The car has been in the garage that you see in the pictures for seven years. Between 1989 and seven years ago the car was outside. The back window on the convertible top is torn which allowed water into the trunk pan and the quarters. The owner states the trunk pan definitely needs to be replaced.

As to the passenger side quarter damage/Bondo. He states the damage is from rubbing a fence post as he drove in His gate. A feeble attempt at repairs as you can see. He also stated that the vehicle is a California car that he brought to New York in 1989 and has never been in an accident to his knowledge.

As to the upholstery, owner stated that his ex-wife read did the upholstery using the original pattern of the seats but decided to use a two-tone to accent the color of the original interior and the original exterior color of the car. It was done several years ago and is vinyl material. It does have the cool split bench with the center consolelette. Owner also states that the car is complete, meeting the car has everything it came from the factory with. He also has two large boxes of additional parts but did not specify with those parts were.

The owner also stated that the car did Run, and well, when he parked it in that warehouse seven years ago but has not attempted to start or turn it over sense. He is moving out of state and needs to downsize and not take the car with him. He is also not firm on the $1800 asking price, and is open to offers.
