Wouldn't be surprised Matt. My comment was about the reserve. He needs at least two very motivated buyers to get it up to what he probably wants. He's got some major $$ in it and it looks great.
 
Nice wagon. Probably was an original 318 car. I would probably ditch the hood scoop.
 
I see the heater control valve. Firewall looks like it was patched over where the heater core use to be.
 
If he hacked a hole in the hood the scoop would have to stay on.
 
A hood can be had for fifty bucks, its gotta go.

How much you reckon it'd cost to match the paint?

Dont care, probably not much, they can do that easy now, or flat black the hood and drive lt like you stole it
 
Unless you can operate a paint gun....I don't think you can get a hood prepped, sanded and painted both sides for less than a couple of hundred $$$.
 
With these cars chances are good you find a green hood you could just bolt on. :)
I know, color probably won't match due to different ageing, but it happened to me once.
