1969 Town&Country 9 Passenger Wagon
I have a decent 70 Wagon for sale. Car has been sitting for years. Has the original 440 with duel snorkle air cleaner with the factory 4 barrel carb. Car has a few rust issues. Both rear quarters on the very bottom are gone some what. The front fenders have some rot low. The floors are really nice and the under side is black. A little minor body work and it would be good. Motor is set up. I pulled plugs and have put some oil in cylinders. I think this wagon is in decent shape considering it's age. Asking 4,300.00 My cell is in my thread, located in Upstate NY. If anyone has any questions feel free to text or call. Thanks for looking.
. OK. 2,800.00 lowest I can go.

Ok my 72 Coronet wagon looks a lot like that. So is my 72 a C body? I figured it to be a B body since its a Coronet. Anyone know

Pretty sure your still a B... shorter wheel base, width may be the same lending to the use of similar/same panels... hope an expert tells us.

Coronet is a B-body and I don't think it's the same width as the Chrysler.
weve seen the wagon before, I remember the horns on the hood.

Yea now that I have the pics close I can spot differences. It's way bigger than the 67 Coronet wagon I parted. Looks bigger than the slabs I parted also

I didn't notice it before... or didn't remember. Its half the price it was in September and I had it set aside to post when DANO posted his. After a week of consideration, I felt it fair to post it... sorry for the repeat and yes I would need more than a time slip to believe the speed claims...

Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I think it's probably a 383 HP based on the dual snorkel air cleaner and the 4 barrel, he many not know but that's just me being nice. The reality is that he's just a lying POS trying to convince people who don't know better that it's something it's not. He sounds like a used car salesman all through the ad. You can sell **** on a stick if you know how to market it.

The car does look to be in good shape and mostly original. As long as you don't believe his used car salesman speak, it might be a good deal. You would definitely need to look this one over well. 140 in the quarter???? That's just a whole lotta bull ****.

I saw this car this past summer while back there on vacation. Is not as nice as these pictures make it seem. Has had a lot of rust repair not done well. Still probably worth close to his asking price.

140mph in a quarter mile? Hmm, I had a 69 300 with a TNT 440, mild hop-up stuff and a 2.76 gear. I was on a long stretch of a local freeway one night with a buddy who had a crotch rocket. I had the pedal to the wood for a few miles. Eventually when we stopped, my buddy said he was pacing me at 138mph. And that took about 7 miles!!! This guy is basically saying this wagon runs 10sec quarter miles. What an ***!

I linked in DANO's add to the first post... I think he has a more honest description...

the "horns" car here is a little more hype than I would be interested in hearing... IDK about you guys, for me sometimes the seller's add tells me I wont enjoy the conversation.

And the BS behind the hornz. 383 w/440 headz that doez 140 in the quarter mile. Me smell somethin' way bad here HMMM? Open can ah kipperz been in the sun too many dayz?

That 15 second pass may have seemed like a 10 second pass to him....

Gotta love the special order power windows.. And the top speed of 140... Were the **** do they grow these assholes...

that means it runs 9.67 with 4445 lb curb weight, no liquids, no driver and has 950 horsepower. medical marijuana involved in this ad?

Yea, Michigan State Police tested the 1969 Dodge Polara, 440 Magnum in full police gear. Top clock was 147 on the test track. Best time for a police car until the 5.7L Hemi Charger in 200(6 or 7). That was with a long run up.
