Scored this nice NOS booster from a big time B body guy who “ didn’t know why his dad would have any C body stuff” and am confused about its applications. I thought these were Imperial boosters only but look at the box- Fury Polara Monaco? Where they used on cop cars in 71-72?it’s pictured next to a Bendix dual C body booster.

According to Chrysler parts catalogs, the booster with part number 3580073, as marked on the tag in the picture, is for 1972-1973 Imperials plus Plymouth Dodge and Chrysler full size station wagons.

Perhaps the box has been swapped. The pictured box is marked with Midland Ross' number C-4600-MA, but the number on the booster tag is C-4279-?.
 
Good eye Vaanth,So I looked up C-4279-K & it lists some C body models from 1969-73, very interesting! Now I want to know why some PD&C models got the 10 dual Midland instead of the Bendix?!?
 
The bolt pattern/ sizing are identical and so is the rod length so is this a “ better “ booster to use for a disc swap compared to the dual Bendix?Is it a heavy duty option?
 
I believe these were used on station wagon applications where you would need extra braking power without having to stomp on the pedal, towing a trailer for example. These use a different metering valve (the one that bolts to the frame rail) than the Bendix units. Great score.
