There's trouble lurking under the vinyl top based on the amount of water/rust that the spare and trunk was holding.
Left C pillar bubbling real nicely too.
Betchya the bottom of rear window is bad too.

piling on, observing and not dissing.

package tray is warped too .. surely she's been takin' on water astern quite badly once or little by little for a long time.

fixable but there will need to be metal/skill/$$ to do so, plus the new roof material/remediation. looks kinda severe on C pilar like cbarge said.

nice old chariot though. hope it finds a good home.

I see the glove box door has an emblem on it.
Is that specific to New Yorkers?
Does the New Yorker glove box door differ from the newport? It appears that way.

Also, I see this new yorker has cardboard in the trunk.
Was that standard on new yorkers and not newports?

There's about twenty pounds of gravel sitting inside the valance, so apparently it's good at nosedive's too! Rear window channel is definitely shot. It could be worth buying, one would have to see underneath to know for sure.

That is specific to New Yorker's. They're the same size, however Newport's are hard plastic, the New Yorker's are a padded soft vinyl, with the emblem. I believe Imperials have "Imperial" script.

I believe it was, upper model car's came with the trunk dress up kit. All Imperials, I believe New Yorker's, and 300's too, and I think it was standard on convertibles as well.
