No I'm talking the profile, these sedans needed to be stretched a foot behind the front doors. Maybe it's just the picture but the fender looks bigger than the quarter. If I had a fuselage it would absolutely have to be a 2 door.
 
I agree. Fuseys in the wrong combination of roof style, whether or not with VT trim, viewed from just the right (or Wrong!) angle, etc, can look ill-proportioned. I caught some crap in a 72 Monaco thread recently for using specific examples to explain what I meant.
 
I was always a four door guy or a convertible guy. Until I bought my brown 71 two door. I quickly changed my opinion on the look and usefulness of the two door . I still however love the four door sedan

Absolutely!
Soemtimes the coupes remind me a late 40s-early 50s Ply-Do turret-top business coupe. I always thought the 4drs looked fine until seeing that shot of the gold Newport on CL. VT trim should've been mandatory on every 69-71 Fusey as it really helps the appearance.
